journey
My passion for technology and software engineering began in high school, where I competed in various hackathons. My first experience was at the ElevateHacks Hackathon, where my team and I developed a comprehensive website focused on mental health, academics, and career goals. This ignited my interest in creating impactful tech solutions.
Building on this experience, I participated in the BusiHacks hackathon, where I led my team to develop a web interface for financial education. This project featured a platform that promoted financial literacy and included a built-in mock-trading simulation. Leading my team in this endeavor reinforced my commitment to using technology for educational purposes.
My desire to expand my skillset led me to app development. As a Kode With Klossy App Developer, I created "Greenhouse," a mobile app designed to educate users about product sustainability and provide alternatives to non-sustainable products. This project allowed me to merge my interests in technology and environmental sustainability.
At USC, my entrepreneurial spirit has flourished through co-founding Cartpool, a web platform developed via LavaLab, USC’s premier startup incubator. Cartpool reduces international shipping costs by pooling orders, making global products more accessible and affordable. Our innovative platform won the Best Demo award at LavaLab Demo Day, presented to over 200 attendees and esteemed judges.
